The problem
Your sales and back office are stuck doing slow manual work
Your inbox is chaos:
RFQs, orders and questions arrive by email, WhatsApp, PDF and Excel, all in the same pile, all written the way the customer talks.
Your company info is everywhere:
Catalog in the ERP, prices in a spreadsheet, the rest in someone’s head. Your team takes forever to respond to a simple request.
Your team keeps doing manual work every day:
The same lookups, the same retyping, the same copy-paste into the ERP — work a machine can do 10x faster and more.
Meet Ettore
Already simplifying various workflows for B2B distributors.
Every channel, one queue
Ettore centralises all your email inboxes, reads PDFs and Excels, and understands which clients are asking for RFQs (quotes).
Every line matched to your catalog
Ettore gets access to the same files your team has, and finds the right items 10x faster.
Priced and drafted, not typed
Ettore drafts a quote, sends it to your ERP, and learns any time you adjust his work.
Typed once, not twice
The order arrives as prose and lands as structured lines. Nobody rekeys it into the ERP.
Right item, right system
Each line resolved against your catalog before it reaches the ERP, not after somebody notices.
Ready for one click
The order comes to your team complete, with anything uncertain already flagged for a decision.
Exceptions routed, not buried
Price below floor, stock short, unknown item: the ones that need a person reach a person.
Follow-ups that don’t get forgotten
The quote that never got answered comes back onto someone’s list instead of ageing quietly.
Same pattern, one platform
Invoicing, exceptions, SKU matching: the same read-match-draft shape, already built.
Your requests do not have to wait days.
Ettore can take up to 24 seconds to process an RFQ or enter an order.

You stay in control
You decide which steps Ettore can do automatically and which ones your backoffice team will review. Choose the correct mode for each action:
Autopilot
Choose this mode for requests where Ettore has the autonomy to do the action alone (e.g. a simple direct SKU request).
Copilot default
Ettore drafts the full quote or order. A person reviews it and approves what goes out.
Human
Ettore skips the task and lets your backoffice rep do the work.
The impact
Real results for your team.
<5 min
Quote turnaround
Machine work finishes in 24 seconds. The only real time spent is one rep’s review.
Manual quoting takes 30–60 minutes per RFQ.
3,000+
RFQs handled monthly
Live today for a multi-brand lighting distributor — 4,300 SKUs, 80+ customer pricelists.
90% of requests arrive by email, parsed automatically.
0
Auto-sent without a clean match
Unrecognized or uncertain lines never default to “Ready” — they route to a person, always.
An architectural rule, not a setting a rep can turn off.
Why work with us
Why you should “hire” Ettore
01
No risk. Priced by volume.
A monthly investment that depends on the number of requests handled — not a flat license, not a seat count.
02
It understands your industry
Works with B2B distribution firms only — lighting, food & wine, electrical. Every client makes it better for the next one.
03
Built by serial tech entrepreneurs
Founded by operators who’ve scaled and exited multiple companies globally (Rocket Internet, Gaia Design, Revelo).
Industry breadth
Built for B2B distribution. Proven in lighting.
Lighting & Electrical
~4,300 SKUs, ~700 quote requests a week, 80+ customer pricelists, 90% of intake by email. Our anchor client runs on this today.
Lighting →HVAC / Electrical / Plumbing
Deep catalogs, quote-only pricing, no self-service portal — the same shape, and the vertical three funded competitors have chosen.
HVAC & plumbing →Food & Beverage distribution
Recurring orders written as prose, priced per customer. Matches our own cluster work and has external market signal behind it.
Food & Beverage →A few people in back-office, hundreds of requests a month
50+ employees, a real back-office team, high manual RFQ or order volume. That qualifier matters more than the industry name.
Questions we get asked.
vs ChatGPT →Does Ettore replace our ERP?
No. Your ERP stays the source of truth for the catalog, pricing and stock. Ettore sits next to it, reads from it, and writes back only what you approve.
Which ERPs do you connect to?
Odoo is live today. SAP Business One and Microsoft Dynamics are on the roadmap. Mail intake works with Outlook and Gmail. If yours isn’t listed, ask us — that’s a conversation, not a no.
What happens when it cannot find an item?
It says so. A line Ettore cannot match is labelled No match, and a line it is unsure about is labelled Check match. Anything unrecognized defaults to Check match, never to Ready — that is an architectural rule, not a setting.
Does anything get sent to our customers automatically?
Only for the request types you have explicitly put on Autopilot, and only when the match is clean. Anything uncertain or unmatched never goes on its own — it routes to a person. You choose which types qualify, and you can leave everything on review.
What do we need to give you to start?
Access to the mailbox that receives requests, and a way to read your ERP catalog. No migration, and no change to how your customers write to you.
How is it priced?
A monthly investment that depends on the number of requests handled — not per seat, so putting more of the team on it costs nothing extra.
See it run on your own inbox.
Bring a real RFQ. We will show you the draft Ettore produces from it, and exactly where your team would step in.
